Mitigating and adapting to the physical risks caused by climate change
Climate change has become a major threat to the living world including humans. The IPCC stated that the responsibility of humans on climate change by emitting greenhouse gases (GHG) into the atmosphere cannot be disputed anymore.
Therefore, it is the responsibility of society to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. Moreover, climate change will cause major changes leading to both acute and chronic physical risks, as well as new regulations to fight climate change, against which adaptation is needed.
